You are cordially invited to attend the
51st Annual National Mother Lode Art Exhibition.

As always, Placerville Arts Association is very
excited about our upcoming 51st national art exhibition.
We are still on a high from last year's 50th anniversary
show and look forward to another wonderful year of
exceptional art in this prestigious show. More news
and information will be added periodically to the
website--so visit often.

This free prestigious art event is open to the public.
The Placerville Arts Association is always proud to
sponsor this annual juried art show.

Again this year, we are pleased to be holding the
Exhibition at the Placerville Shakespeare Club—a
venue with charm that embodies the finest in
artistic expression.

The Exhibition will be a feast for the eyes and soul
as art from a broad range of media will be on show,
including oil, acrylic, pastels, scratchboard, watercolor,
mixed media, fine art photography, mixed media,
graphic arts, and 3D, depicting life, and our world
in its fullest.

This is a juried & judged art event. Awards are given for outstanding achievement.  PAA is honored to have the participation of Diana Coco Russell.  She is presently a professor at Academy of Arts University of San Francisco. She is a graduate from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, in Illustration and holds a Masters in Education from UCLA.  For many years she concentrated on animation and worked at a number of studios including: “Filmation” and “Warner Bros.”  For additional information, refer to the Prospectus on the Call to Artists page.

The Shakespeare Club is less than a minute off of the 50 Freeway, north on Bedford Ave.  There is parking on Bedford as well as ample parking accessible on Spring Street—the street behind the Club.

Several artists will be available to talk with during the open show hours.

WORKSHOPS: to be announced by June 1st.
